Cryptocereus anthonyanus

☼ Bright, indirect light to full sun. Can tolerate medium light, but will grow slower and a bit smaller.

Droplet on Docomo 2013 Let soil dry out before watering thoroughly. Keep drier in the winter.

The fishbone, or rick rack cactus is actually a cousin to orchids and for the lucky -and patient- few, it may bloom given proper care and age. This place is also easily propagated by using a sparp knife or scissors to snip a portion off, letting the end callus over before planting in porous soil.

SIZES:

  • 4" pot, 10-16" long stems
