We live and work on the Indigenous lands of the Kiikaapoi [Kickapoo], Peoria, Bodéwadmiakiwen [Potawatomi], Miami and Očhéthi Šakówiŋ [Sioux]. This land was forcibly ceded by the US governnment, with the original inhabitants pushed west, into smaller territories. We are committed to learning more about the original stewards of this land, and the ways in which we can help redistribute wealth and resources to support Indigenous communities.

If you would like to visit our storefront, we are located in what is now the Pilsen neighborhood of Chicago on the near west side. The pink line El stop is a 15 min walk from our storefront, and the 18 bus runs directly in front of The Shudio towards the Red Line El in the South Loop. We recommend street parking on 16th street with a bonus of getting to see some of the stunning murals decorating the Metra line wall.
