Stained glass is created by cutting out little pieces of expensive and often handmade, raw materials. Then grinding them down, individually wrapping them in foil, and soldering them together with lead. It is an exercise in breaking things down into components and reassembling those pieces to make something beautiful just for its own sake. Each creation invites you to pause and linger in a really good ray of sunlight.

Based in Humboldt Park, Chicago, I specialize in handcrafting modern stained glass pieces inspired by the beauty and intricacy of nature. I attempt to translate organic shapes and colors via the slow, deliberate process of stained glass.
